Java 11 invalid maximum heap size

Pause times are independent of heap size that is being used. ZGC supports heap sizes from 8MB to 16TB. The Z Garbage Collector is enabled with the command-line option -XX:+UseZGC. The line below shows 3 JVM arguments. They are common to all JVM garbage collectors. -XX:MaxGCPauseMillis=200 -XX:ParallelGCThreads=<var> -XX:ConcGCThreads=<var>.

Hi, Actually I am installing PHRASAL in a new system having 8gb ram, but during execution of "../scripts/align 4g aligner.conf" command it is generating an error as. 2. [Fixed] Initial heap size set to a larger value than the maximum heap size. To get rid of this error, the value of Xmx (maximum heap size) should always be greater than or equal to Xms (minimum heap size). Run the HelloWorld program with the value of Xms (minimum heap size) set to 1 gigabyte and Xmx (maximum heap size) set to 2 gigabytes. Use the amount that your system accepts (when it returns your default java environment info) - see screenshot below. 2 - The studio settings: Go to Windows > Preferences. 3 - Job Properties: JVM heap size can be set on the job itself: Open the job, go to the Run tab, click on Advanced Settings: Tweet. I tried that command, and even added it to my CraftBukkit.sh. This is what I get back. Invalid maximum heap size: -Xmx6144M. The specified size exceeds the maximum representable size. Error: Could not create the Java Virtual Machine. Error: A fatal exception has occurred. Program will exit.

Hi Alexander, Thanks for the reply. Both projects use the same JRE, project SDK's are the same, no alternative JRE have been specified. This can be found in the console (classpath jars have been removed for readablity):.

The default is 1/64 of the physical memory- Xmx: javaheap maximum. It is recommended to set it to half of the physical memory. Do not exceed physical memory- 20: Permsize: sets the initial size of the memory persistent area. The default value is 64M( I use visualvm.exe to view) -20: Maxpermsize: sets the maximum size of the persistent memory.
